Hot Dip Galvanisation

  • Product Info

The process of hot dip galvanisation applies a coating of metallic zinc to the surface of fabricated steel to seal and protect it from exposure and corrosion. The steel is immersed in molten zinc until fully coated to a standard thickness to reduce maintenance costs and extend the lifespan of the product. The thickness, alloy structure and finish of galvanized coatings are influenced by the composition and surface condition and of the steel.
